Sometimes you just need to dress up warm, escape your concrete jungle corner of the city and take a night-time stroll along the Thames, past St Paul's, looking back on Tower Bridge, past the Tate Modern, the London Eye and finally Big Ben and Westminster, to remind yourself of just how great this city truly is.
